Winners of IGKO and Humming bird Spelling Competition 2024-25 .Students of Classes 1 to 9 participated in the competition and bagged prizes in all categories.

Sanjana Maity of Cl 8 participated in Open District Level Association Meet .She bagged the 1st prize in 600m race and 3rd prize in 60m sprint.

Kick-Boxing-Champion

Anunay Singh , Cl 11 (Humanities),winner of South Bengal Kick Boxing Championship 2024-25 held in Durgapur. He bagged two prizes: Light contact 57 category – Gold medal and Kick light 57 category – Silver medal.

Safety-progam-HDC

An awareness program about safety of the workers was organized by Haldia dock Complex at Haldia Port. Our students put their contribution by performing at the Dock premises.

Drama-competition-win

Students of Cl 10 had put great endeavor in presenting at the District Drama Competition 2024 conducted at Digha Science Centre. It was the first time participation and they won the hearts of all the audience. The drama was directed by Dr D. Roy , HOD Physics at VMS , Haldia

National-space-day-prize

The little painters of VMS, Haldia were awarded at the prize distribution ceremony of National Space Day celebration at Haldia Dock Complex @SMPK.The awards were given to the winners by Dr. Debiprosad Duari, former Director of Research at MP Birla Institute of Fundamental Research.

Ipsita Patra and Sohil Tanbir of Cl 10 bagged the second prize in the Category IV – Off stage event: On Spot Vlogging-Event coverage for the day atKRISHTI, theAnnual interschool cultural fest 2024-25.

Swarnava Pal of cl 10 secured the 3rd position at District Science Seminar 2024 conducted at Digha Science Centre.

Drawing competition organized be LIC . Winners: Suvonath Pradhan of Cl 3R secured the 3rd position ; Aadhay Sardar of Cl 2S secured the 2nd position ; Disha Pradhan of Cl 2S secured the 1st position.

Interschool Debate competition was organized by IOC , Haldia refinery. Ipsita Patra of Cl 10 secured the 2nd position and Jagannath Panda of Cl 11 Science secured the 3rd position in this competition.

Interhouse Quiz competition was organized in the school at the school campus. In Junior group (Cl 3 – 5) : Third position secured by Gold House ; Second position by Scarlet house ; 1st position secured by Emerald house In Middle group (Cl 6 – 8) : 3 rd position Emerald House ; 2nd Position Scarlet house ; 1st position Gold house Senior group (Cl 9- 11) : 3rd position Scarlet house ; 2nd position secured by Gold House ; 1st position secured by Emerald house.

Literacy day observed by organizing an Interhouse Debate competition .

International Coast Guard Clean-up Day was observed by the students of cl 9. They participated in this awareness program with enthusiastically.
