SWAMIJI’S BIRTH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

12th January is a very pious day as the birthday of the great philosopher, social reformer, and religious guide Swami Vivekananda. He was a great educationist and believer of youth power as well as guided the young generation to a better and successful future. Due to his greatest guidance and teaching, his birthday is also observed as National Youth Day in India. He efficiently combined Indian spirituality with Western material progress to reform our social and spiritual understandings. His knowledge helps us learn the manifestation of perfection as a human being
with self-confidence and self-respect. We pursue his footmarks as a leading English Medium school to make our students as great persons with a sense of humanity, so they stand on their own feet with education and compassion.

This year we celebrated the 158th birth anniversary of Swamiji in our school a bit differently. Due to the pandemic virus the entry we limited only to the teachers and staff with strict maintenance of the guidelines provided by the health ministry as safety protocols. We invited all our present and ex-students along with guardians to virtually witness this virtuous celebration via our Facebook page, i.e. Vivekananda Mission School, Joka_Official. We organized several artistic
activities and awareness programs to fulfill the good wishes of Swamiji. The teachers have emphasized the impact of Swamiji’s education for the betterment of our society and nation. The educations of Swamiji successfully breed a sense of confidence among the students and inspire them to prosper in life as a better person. Many interested students have joined us online along with their guardians to celebrate this great sacred event.

Swamiji taught us the divine unity of existence and unity in diversity and we incorporated this thinking into our education system. We have prepared the right environment in our schools as per the guidance of Swamiji so all students can prepare themselves for successful futures. Also, Swamiji has taught us that all power is within you, so you can do anything and everything as per your wish. Our teachers educate the students to bring up with the enlightened sense of humanity and self-confidence, so they can create a good impression in the future as an ex-student of VMS.
Swami Vivekananda taught us not to get in the conflict between the heart and the brain, follow your heart to fulfill and none can teach you, none can make you spiritual. We also guide our students to grow from the inside out and there is no other teacher but your own soul, so the students can educate themselves with proper understanding. Swamiji’s education and guidance helped us a lot to administrate the proper education system in our school, so our students can
emerge as not only great scholars but also as good humans. On this great day of Swamiji’s birth anniversary, we emphasize his teachings and guidance to spread humanity across the nation.
