January 23 is celebrated as Parakram Diwas in India to celebrate the birthday of one of the illustrious independence fighters, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. His steadfast spirit and unmatched devotion to the Indian independence movement made him a hugely popular leader, lovingly addressed as "Netaji."
