FIELD TRIP TO ALIPORE ZOO
Alipore Zoo, hectares of area containing variety of species of our animal kingdom is an exquisite place to get to know the vastness of our biodiversity on Earth.
The department of ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE AND ENVIRONMENTAL APPLICATIONS
along with the SCIENCE CLUB of our school organised a field trip to Alipore Zoo on 4th January, 2025 (Saturday).
It was a fun-filled experience for the students. They got to visit the different enclosures of the mammals, reptiles, aves and many more. Students gathered knowledge on different varieties of species. Students learned about the different historical buildings like Gubbay House (commonly called Nocturnal House) Sarnomoyi House, The Ezra House and others.
The Buckland and Maimonsingha enclosure were much captivating.
The excursion was very informative and interesting for all the teachers and the students.
