Hindi Sangam 2025 – A Celebration of Language, Culture, and Nature.
The annual Hindi fest of Vivekananda Mission School, Hindi Sangam 2025, was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 26th July 2025. The event highlighted the significance of the Hindi language and revolved around the theme “Nature”, emphasizing its deep connection with our lives.
The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a floral tribute to Swami Vivekananda and noted Hindi literary figures followed by the mandatory ritual of the fest – a soulful “Saraswati Vandana” performed by the students. The event was skillfully anchored by Aagnik Banerjee of class 11 and Payal Verma of class 12, who kept the audience engaged throughout the event.The Facebook Live session, hosted by Akshat Sen and Anushka Singh, was a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
A total of 10 events were conducted, showcasing the talent and creativity of students of various classes. The competitions included Go As You Like (Classes 3 & 4), Dance Competition (Classes 7 & 8), Poem Recitation (Classes 5 & 6), Singing Competition (Classes 7 & 8), Pot Painting (Classes 5 & 6), Rangoli Making (Class 9), Story Writing (Classes 7 & 8), Slogan Writing (Classes 5 & 6), Advertisement Writing (Classes 9 & 10), and Poem Writing (Classes 9, 10 & 11).
Adding charm to the celebration were the Food Corner and Selling Corner, which became the center of attraction for students and visitors . The school also took the opportunity to honor students who topped the ICSE and ISC Hindi examinations, rewarding them with gifts and applause for their achievements.
The day concluded with the much-awaited Prize Distribution Ceremony, celebrating the winners of the various competitions .A significant aspect of the celebration was the recognition of every participant, reinforcing the belief that winning is not merely about achieving a position; rather, the real victory lies in having the courage to perform and showcase one’s talent in front of the audience. Finally, inspiring speeches were delivered by Principal Sister, Prefect Sister, and Soma Bhattacharya Sister, encouraging students to stay connected to their roots and language. The event ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and cultural unity.
Hindi Sangam 2025 successfully blended tradition, creativity, and awareness about nature, making it a memorable celebration for all.
