STEAM Learning Beyond the Classroom:
To promote STEAM education by linking Science and Maths with Arts, the Science and Maths Club students visited the State Archaeological Museum, Behala.
The students explored Bengal’s deep-rooted heritage through its rich collections — from rare Stone Age tools and terracotta pieces to magnificent sculptures and artifacts from the Gupta, Maurya, and Pala periods.
This enriching visit helped them understand how archaeology beautifully blends scientific methods and mathematical principles in dating, analyzing, and interpreting ancient artifacts.
The trip was not only educational but also truly inspiring, giving students a deeper appreciation of Bengal’s history, culture, and artistic legacy.
