ACHIEVEMENT OF OUR STUDENTS IN DR. B.D. NAGCHAUDHURI MEMORIAL SCIENCE FAIR [2024]

Dr. B. D. NAGCHAUDHURI MEMORIAL SCIENCE FAIR A wonderful initiative taken by The PASCHIM BANGA BIGHYAN MANCHA and ADARSHA PALLI YOUNGS' ASSOCIATION, Bigyan Mela is a science fair which gives us an exposure to the simple but unique science for a sustainable future. From model making, quiz, speech to meeting prominent personalities, students got an opportunity to try out and learn a lot off new things.

Some of the eminent judges and the guests were: ▫️Dr Abhijit Bhattacharyya Professor in Applied Physics, CU ▫️Dr Avijit Chatterjee Environmental Scientist of Bose Institute ▫️Mr. Sekhar Chattopadhyay Ex Scientist of Electronics Regional Test Laboratory, Govt of India ▫️Dr Utsav Chowdhury Math Professor of ISI ▫️Dr. Sudipta Dey Professor of Mechanical Engineering, JU ▫️Shri Rajib Nath Director -Headquarter of National Council of Science Museum (NCSM), Salt Lake ▫️Dr Mridul Bose Ex Professor of Physics, JU ▫️Dr. Siddhartha Datta Ex Pro-VC of JU and many more were there. It was held from 20th to 22nd of December, 2024. This 3 day long experience was really informative and enriching to all our participants and the viewers.

Our achievements:

MODEL MAKING:  Category A comprising- Aarav Chakraborty 9B Ria Ganguly 9F Niveditaa Banik 9C bagged the 1st position

Category B comprising- Archishman Mazumder 11A Srijita Chakraborty 11A Arkabrata Roy 11C bagged the the 3rd position

SPEECH: 1st position was bagged by Aishi Das, 9F

PPT: 2nd position was bagged by Sohan Chatterjee, 11 D

QUIZ: 2nd position was bagged by Ankit Ganguly, 11 B Sohom Dutta, 11 F 3rd position was bagged by Debarghya Naskar, 11D Debanga Mondal, 11 A
